The aluminum sheet is offset from the wall by a 3/4" thick wooden frame which is attached to the back. The high gloss of the aluminum sheet complements the rich colors of any image to produce stunning results.

This abstract was inspired by the energy around me combined with the thought of the ocean. The sun was shining bright the day I painted this. So I took my mind on a vacation to the beach and conjured up the colors that I love on canvas. I added slow-moving drips for the rhythm of the waves. The wind was also howling. And the multi-colored leaves of fall were whipping fast around the yard. This surplus of energy resulted in some increased paint throwing. I chose white paint because I was thinking about the foam of the ocean, coral, and shells.
